Carly McKenzie is a mixed-media artist based in central New Jersey.

Carly McKenzie is primarily a sculptor and printmaker, soon to graduate from The College of New Jersey. Her work has investigated nostalgia from childhood, familial connections, and heirlooms. Drawing inspiration from the past, McKenzie is influenced by antiques, novelty and retro toys, collectables, and historical time periods. Having an educational background in animal science has informed many of the works which include animals. Experimenting with materials such as resin, wood, textiles, clay, and paper, her artmaking practice is through a mixed-media approach. Additionally, McKenzie has started to create works with interactive elements or moving pieces.
